Paprika potatoes

Ingredients:
1 kg potatoes
1 large onion
1 large clove garlic
1 tablespoon ground paprika
1/2 tomato
1/2 green pepper
20 cm smoked sausage (or wiener or hotdog sausage)
pinch of ground cumin
10 whole black pepper
1 tablespoon oil (or fat of roasted bacon)
salt

1. Peel the potatoes and slice prisms of them.

2. Chop the onion and the garlic finely.

3. Braise the onion and the garlic in oil until pale yellow.

4. Pull the pan from the fire, add the paprika, mix in, add 1 dl of water.
Put the potatoes, green pepper, tomato, smoked sausage into the pan.
Add a pinch of cumin, the black peppers and salt.

5. Add some water but not too much: some potatoes should stand out because potatoes contain water too. Paprika potatoes are the best if they have only little and dense gravy.

Cook for 20 minutes under the cover.

6. Put the wienie on the top of the potatoes and cook them in the steam for 5 minutes under the cover.
